Cookie and browser storage notice

We use as little browser storage as reasonably possible. Optional functional, analytics and marketing technologies are off by default and are not activated unless you choose the relevant category. The public site currently has no advertising pixels or behavioural analytics installed.
Cookies used on the main public site

The session cookie is sent with Secure, HttpOnly and SameSite=Lax protections. The privacy-choice cookie is Secure and SameSite=Lax. It must remain readable by the site so you can review and change the choice you previously made.
Optional categories
- Functional preferences: optional convenience settings that remember choices between visits.
- Analytics: optional measurement of public-site use. No analytics technology is currently loaded.
- Marketing: optional advertising, campaign attribution or behavioural technology. No advertising or behavioural tracking is currently loaded.
Optional categories are blocked before consent. If a category is introduced later, the site consent layer requires that code to be marked with its consent category and will not activate it unless that category is enabled.
Your privacy controls
On your first visit, the privacy and cookie popup lets you accept all optional categories, reject all non-essential categories, or choose categories individually. Rejecting optional cookies does not prevent you from using the public service.
You can withdraw or change a choice at any time by selecting in the website footer. Withdrawing a category prevents future use by this site. You can also delete existing cookies in your browser.
Connected application surfaces
Authenticated or operational subsites can set their own essential session or access storage where it is required to recognise an authenticated user, preserve security state, maintain an in-progress workflow or support offline-safe application functions. Those functions are not advertising consent. If an operational surface introduces optional analytics or marketing technology, that technology must be placed behind an equivalent consent control before activation.
